A Stress Tinnitus Frequently Asked Question: At that time I was working in a very high-stress job

tinnitis Mary Asked

I first started noticing a high-pitched ringing about 2 years ago. Interestingly, I also started taking medication for high cholesterol (Zocor) at about that same time. At that time I was working in a very high-stress job that put extreme demands on me and required me to work many extra at-home hours to complete my work expected by my supervisor. I tend to be a perfectionist and put myself into everything I do 110% - and then some.

I have since stopped working that job, but my tinnitus remains - at first I did not know what it was, and it was not as noticeable to me then because my actual 'quiet time' was nonexistant. Now, I am at home and notice it constantly. I have it 24/7 and it is becoming harder to sleep at night, as I find I need to be in a state of exhaustion to get past the quiet (and noise in my head) to fall asleep. Consequently, I am running on about 3 and sometimes 4 hours of sleep a day.

I find that my mind is working overtime, worring about this and the rest of my health since I get so little sleep, that I feel that depression is a close companion of the tinnitus. I have been reading alot about this, and my doctors, both primary care and ear specialists say there is nothing that can be done except to mask the noise. Your web site does not agree...so I am wondering where to turn next. Maybe just having a sympathetic ear can help.

"I now tell any one who has this dreaded noise about your product and the success I have experienced sure hope they give you a try."

"In 17 years I have never had a QUIET DAY in both ears ever. I do now sometimes go 3 days of total silence.

Those days are so dear to me, its hard to explain. I can't begin to thank you so much for your concern in this tinnitus research.

They talk about doing stem cell research here but it wont be available for another decade, but please send your money. I no longer give them a dime.

Maybe you have heard of them, out of Oregon called the American Tinnitus Association. I made them aware of your product and how it has helped me and all they can say is be careful.

I now tell any one who has this dreaded noise about your product and the success I have experienced sure hope they give you a try. I tell them they have everything to lose and that being the NOISE.

Well enough boring you with my Gibberish....
