Back in 1998:

	The ringing in Ellens ears was so bad that her health was suffering (she suffered very badly with sinus attacks, colds and flu)
	She was always tired and irritable (so much so that even her beloved children became wary of her)
	Her immune system was nonexistent (every little germ that was going around knocked her flat on her back)
	She was always stressed out (everything always seems worse when you are tired and stressed and Ellen was always tired and stressed)
	She started experiencing panic attacks (these were so scary to witness, I sure am glad I didn't get them)
	She was really battling to concentrate at work (and she REALLY couldn't afford to take time off!)
	Her personality was actually changing as a result of those awful ringing noises! (selfishly I started wondering what happened to the caring, loving girl I fell in love with?)

She just could not get enough sleep at night because of the persistent, loud ringing noises in her ears and I remember her telling me,
"These noises are going to drive me absolutely crazy!"Ellen was running a large company, and doing a very good job of it, as always putting her heart and sole into everything she did.

Unfortunately there were some things taking place behind her back that she had absolutely no control of, which were causing the company to lose enormous amounts of money.

My wife was experiencing huge amounts of stress and this was later identified as one of the prime causes of those piercing ear ringing noises known as tinnitis that she was experiencing!

"The Tinnitis Cycle"

One day she took our son off to a doctor who had been recommended to her by his soccer coach. My son had a chest infection that just would not clear up and as this doctor came highly recommended Ellen made an appointment to see him.

This was a decision that would change her life!

While the doctor when was busy with the examination of our son, Ellen mentioned her problem she was having with tinnitis. She was actually considering asking him for some sort of treatment to boost her immune system.

What the doctor told her nearly caused her
to fall out of her chair...

• "I have actually had excellent successes in treating tinnitis," he told Ellen. • "If we can determine the cause of your tinnitis, we have a very good chance of dramatically reducing the levels of the ringing in your ears."

• Ellen spent the next hour telling the doctor about our life, our family and all the good things and bad things that had happened in our lives in the last 15 years.
  
  She also told him about the slight hearing loss that audiologists had determined she had suffered, probably as a result of her love for music which she habitually played at very loud volumes on her car stereo.
  
  And the fact that this slight hearing loss was not considered by the ENT doctor to be sufficient to cause the very bad tinnitis she was experiencing.
  
  
• That in in our ignorance we had discounted the hearing loss as a cause for her tinnitis.

The Doctor Reached The Following Conclusions:

• The ROOT CAUSE of Ellen's tinnitis was almost certainly cochlear damage and also damaged nerve endings in her inner ear. These nerve endings transmit the electrical impulses from the cochlea to the brain which interprets those impulses as sound. • This damage was probably caused from exposure to noise or a blow to the head. • Ellen's tinnitis had been 'triggered' by the prolonged stress and traumatic life events she had been subjected to over the previous period.

• He proposed that they adopt a two pronged attack on the tinnitis.

• He prescribed two separate and distinct remedies which he assured her would successfully relieve her tinnitis symptoms.

• As you can well imagine this news gave Ellen hope...
  
  
• It also gave her huge boost in confidence that she could finally beat the ringing in her ears that had been driving her crazy for three long years!

The Tinnitis Treatments

	The first treatment remedy was formulated to specifically to deal with anxiety and stress. This treatment would actually stimulate the hypothalamus in the brain to start producing essential chemicals that the body needs to function properly. • It is an established fact that over 90% of tinnitis cases are caused from cochlear damage, in most cases as a result of exposure to noise. • In Ellen's case, the tinnitis was caused from exposure to noise but was triggered by the traumatic life events she was experiencing.

"My Wife Got Her Life Back..."

• Ellen came home in state of excitement I had not seen for many a year!

One of the bonuses of taking this new treatment was that she could discontinue the conventional stress and anxiety medications, but would still continue with the sleeping tablets.It took about three weeks before she noticed any change in the levels of ear ringing and even then it was almost imperceptible at first.
