Donna asked:

Ringing in my left ear, and ocassionally in my le.ft ear. I think it was caused from amitripiline, too strong of a prescription. The tinnitus started at that time, the prescription was cut back as it also gave me headaches.

Our Response:

Hello Donna,

There is a list of medications as long as your arm that can cause tinnitus as a side effect. Your body sometimes reacts badly to a certain prescription drug and tinnitus is the result. The only way to stop this form of tinnitus is to rid yourself of the toxins that are present in the body as a result of the drugs that caused the tinnitus.

I have discussed this tinnitus type and how we can help you, in much more detail below.

Donna, please click here to read the rest of my reply which is fairly detailed, but Donna, I do implore you to read the reply in full as it will give you a very good insight into tinnitus from presciption drugs as well as how best to deal with this chronic condition.
