The ear ringing and tinnitus started after back surgery last 9-07-03, for a pinch nerve which I had from April till Sept. I was taking Lortab for pain and it was getting to where I just ate to take the Lortab. I have gone to a hearing specialist and he said the tinnitus was nutrient problem.

The prescription drugs you took to control pain during and after your back surgery are almost certain to be the main cause of your ear ringing and tinnitus. It is amazing how many drugs actually do cause tinnitus as a side effect.
