Fred asked:

Hyperacusis: I've had tinnitus predominately in the right, and only good ear. Mainly narrow band high frequency. Started around the early 1990s.

The left ear is stable but the hearing level and fidelity is very poor due to a mastoid operation when 11 years old - in those days they used a hammer and chisel and you were lucky to survive!

The tinnitus has progressed from a high frequency hiss to multiple wide and narrow band noises. The worst being the low frequecy hum that modulates incoming sound - sadly music is no longer music but a jangle of sounds.

Maskers just seem to aggrevate the condition. Several grommets have been fitted, the last being a T-grommet. This was removed after repeated infections. Many different oral and topical anti-biotics applied over the years.

I hate the thought of some of this junk in my ear but when one is desparate.... I gave up on the Canesten (thrush after the antbiotics) - car battery acid would have been less painfull! Ever heard the saying - "Trust me I'm a doctor".... mmmmm! - What's the medical profession trying to do to me!

I now have Hyperacusis to compliment the severe tinnitus and deafness. External noise exacerbates the tinnitus.

I had some excellent success in the early days with multi-vitamins and minerals. However it gradually got worse again over the months. I still take the vitamins and minerals.

However all was not doom and gloom. In my desperate search for a cure I found Colloidal Silver. I make this solution myself after investing in the right equipment from the U.S - you can buy anything there! Now it didn't stop the tinnitus but it did stop my repeated virus infections and the subsequent ear infections and need for anti-biotics.

I've spent a lot of money on "promises" of relief or cure of this condition and would respectfully ask that if there is zero hope you will be honest and tell me - I do not have much more cash to throw at this. I'm sure you understand.

I am though realistic about this, I dont expect a quick fix - if T-Gone can only relieve the symptoms, that would be a great move forward and the cost would be worth it just for that. Once I get some relief I can get back to work (IT Specialist and now self medical practioner!) and so afford the continuing investment in T-Gone.

To be fair my doctor is into alternative medicine, alas much to the shaking heads of her male colleagues, and has put me on Causticum 6C. A few weeks ago I gave her the web printout from the T-Gone site and shall be seeing her soon to discuss same.

If I do start a course of T-Gone I'll keep good records of progress and give you any necessary feedback.

Well thanks for listening - believe me if this really works I shall be singing your praises up and down the UK :-)

Our Response:

Hello Fred,

You do seem to have done your homework regarding your condition and I would agree with you that are experiencing Hyperacusis.

There is a link below which explains hyperacusis in detail. We do have good successes with this condition. As you probably know, our T4 remedy for cochlea damage makes up one half of the Hyperacusis treatment course.

You obvioulsy have suffered cochlea damage and this is the cause eof your condition.

From my experience, when one has any type of head surgery the chances of getting cochlear damage is very good as the doctors seem to treat you as they would a sack of potatoes!

You are out to the world so why be gentle.

The shock and noise of these procedures haved caused thousands of people to wake up with their teeth gone but they are hearing this irritating noise...

Of course the doctor will claim the noise has absolutely nothing to do with having your teeth removed, or your sinuses scraped or whatever it is he did to you!

Fred, please click here to read detailed information regarding the hyperacusis and how we can help you
