Hyperacusis: My tinnitus entails a high pitch ringing in my left ear. Background noise annoying. Some days are worst than others I don't get dizzy or feel Nausea. When people talk to me from the left side there voices are muffled.
Hello Janet, The symptoms you have described are typical of a condition known as Hyperacusis. Tinnitus and Hyperacusis will normally only occur when cochlear damage has occurred. I have explaine Hyperacusis and tinnitus (and how we can help you) in more detail below.
