Meniere's Disease: I have had a hissing in my left ear since age 25. (Im 53) For the past week, a loud hum, fullness in both ears, any noise makes the hum worse. I took prednisone and a diuretic and it has settled down to a kind of thrumming, like a bass guitar, along with my usual hissing.
