Tinnitus from exposure to loud noises over a long period of time...
Danny Quaresma asked:
I have been exposed to loud noise over a long period of time.
Our response:
Hello Danny,
When one is exposed to loud noises, cochlea damage often occurs and loss of hearing in the higher frequencies occur as does tinnitus. We refer to this tinnitus type as Type 4 tinnitus.
Type 4 tinnitus is the most common form of tinnitus and the tinnitus type which we fortunately have most successes with.
There are of wee nerve endings inside the cochlea that are stimulated by the enormous pressures of loud noises.
This stimulation then cause a stirring of the micro hair nerve cell, remarkably like to a wheat field on a farm agitating in time with the breeze.
When a noise is noticed by the ear and the cilia move, electric signals are sent via the auditory nerve which your brain interprets as sound.
All those microscopic nerve endings and the delicate auditory nerves are very easily damaged when you are exposed to loud noise over a period of time. The nerve damage is all the more worsened if you have listened to loud music for a long time.
The delicate inner ear organs can get damaged from a bad knock on to the head. The tiny hairs can get bent or even broken and then send electrical impulses randomly directly to the brain which interprets them as a sound, although no sound is actually present.
Cochlea damage leading to a whistling in the ears often is caused by:
1.botched ear wax removals
2.a procedure known as ear candling
3.diving accidents
4.sports injuries
5.surgery to the head
6.inner ear infections
7.High frequency loss of hearing is permanent however our tinnitus remedies have helped thousands of tinnitus sufferers dramatically lower the ringing in the ears from a damaged cohlea.
