People often confuse auditory nerve damage with outer or middle ear damage such as damage to the ear drums.
If you have suffered cochlear damage due to exposure to loud noises, this does not mean that you have auditory nerve tinnitus.
In most cases only the delicate nerve endings in the inner ear have been damaged. This is not auditory nerve damage.
It is not likely that auditory nerve damage is the root cause of your tinnitus, it is more likely to be the cochlea damage in the inner ear.
There are of dainty nerve endings within the cochlea that are stimulated by the pressures of waves of sound.
The stimulation brings about a stirring of all those microscopic hair nerve cells, which reminds one to a wheat field agitating in concert with the breeze.
When noise is perceived by the ear and these auditory hairs undulate, impulses are discharged through the auditory nerve that your brain picks up and tells you you've just heard a sound.
The tiny cells and the microscopic auditory nerves get damaged easily when you expose yourself to loud noise. The auditory nerve damage is all the more worsened if you listen to your mp3 player at loud volumes over an extended period of time.
The delicate inner ear organs can get damaged from a severe blow to the head. The tiny hairs often get bent out of shape or even chopped-off and then send electrical impulses randomly directly to the brain which interprets them as a noise, even though there might be an absence of sound.
Hearing loss is irreversible nevertheless the T-Gone tinnitis remedies have been very successful in lowering the levels of tinnitus caused from cochlear damage. There are millions of small hairs housed in the cochlea that get affected when you hear an external sound.
When a sound gets discerned by the ears and these small hairs start moving, impulses are sent through the nerve which your brain interprets as a noise.
The agitation of the hairs in the inner ear can be likened to a field of long grass rippling in time with the wind.
These minute hair cells and those delicate auditory nerves get damaged easily when subjected to sudden loud noises. The inner ear damage is made worse if you are a band member or worked in a loud environment for a long time.
The inner ear and its delicate structures are also damaged by a severe blow to the head If damage happens and the cilia are damaged or bent they can send random impluses to the brain which are interpreted as a sound even though none is present.
Any type of surgery to the head can also result in noise induced tinnitus.
Hearing loss is permanent but our noise tinnitus remedies have successfully reduced the ear ringing levels of many thousands of tinnitus sufferers
