Hello Earle, You are quite correct, the fact that you had all your teeth removed and the surgery to your back and neck, has caused damage and your ear ringing is a result of this. You mention that the ringing has increased in intensity recently this unfortunately is very common. Did you know that there are millions of teeny-weeny nerve cells in the cochlea that are influenced by the great pressures of loud noises. As a sound is discerned by the ear and those cilia move, signals go streaking through the auditory nerve which your brain interprets as noise. When stimulation then causes movement of those micro hair, remarkably like to a wheat field moving in concert with the wind. Those millions of micro nerve endings the minuscule nerves are easy to break when you are exposed sudden to loud noise. The cochlear damage is automatically intensified if you have worked in a noisy environment for extended periods. These sensitive organs can also be damaged as a result of a bad blow on to the head. The auditory hairs can get bent or even chipped and then send electrical impulses randomly straight to the brain which is interpreted as a sound, even though there might be a complete absence of sound. Some form of cochlear damage which can cause to whistling noises in the ears can also be caused from ear wax treatments gone wrong, ear candling, swimming pool accidents, sport injury problems, ear surgery also from middle ear infections. Loss of hearing is most certainly irreparable nevertheless the t-gone tinnitis remedies have been very successful at permanently lowering the ringing in the ears from cochlea damage. I trust this empowers you with sufficient information to understand that it is the exposed to noise remedy you need to help you in your quest to cure that ear ringing, Earl. John Currie
