You mention that your tinnitus started after spending time at a disco,exposure to loud noise can so easily cause damage, which often results in tinnitis. It is certainly this thatn has caused your tinitus and not the drinking.
Did you know that there are millions of micro nerve endings deep inside the ear that are influenced by pressure of loud noises.
As noises is recognized by the ear and those tiny hairs start moving, electrical impulses are discharged through the auditory nerve which your brain deciphers as a noise.
