Ringing, pulsating, louder after working in a noisy environment, 24 hours out of 24. The tinnitus noises can be bothersome at night and during the day. Fuzzy feelings in the left rear (soarness, cold, puncture feeling). Could stress be the cause of my tinnitus. I know that you have indicated stress a the possible cause of your tinnitus. The ringing and pulsating noises you describe however are really not normally associated with stress tinnitus and I believe your tinnitus is a result of cochlear damage. Tinnitus and high frequency hearing loss can, and most often do, occur when you are subjected to loud noise in the place of work.
I bet you didn't realize that there are millions of microscopic nerve cells in the cochlea that get very excited by pressure of waves of sound resulting from noise.
As noises is received by your ears the tiny hairs wave around, signals are sent via the nerves which your brain figures out to be a noise.
