Tinnitus noise is of a whistling sound, rather high in tone. The tinnitus is sometimes low and not bothersome, sometimes the tinnitus medium and annoying, and other times the tinnitus is loud, as to be painful. It is very bad when I am very tired. A good nights rest improves the condition. A prescription medicine for anxiety, I don't remember the name. Over the counter naporxen sodium, ibuprofen, aspririn, benadryl. I've had three root canals in the past 3-10 years and had oral surgery many years ago.

The tinnitus noises you have described, as well as the fact that your tinnitus increases in intensity when you are feeling tired and stressed does indicate to me that you are suffering from cochlear damage tinnitus.
