When I was 9 years old (I'm 53 now) a firecracker went off a couple of feet from my right ear..they've been ringing ever since at the time they discovered no nerve damage..however this past weekend (May 29th 2004) I overdosed on Chocolate chip cookies and the ringing has just taken off..it is always there whereas before I did not hear it during the day only at night when I go to bed..I suspect some sort of allergy (possibly wheat) I'm a vegan
vegatarian so I stay away from most bad foods however I've noticed that salt does make the ringing worse and vitamin C with bioflavinoids helps to allevite it..so far this time the vit C has had marginal affect..I also am taking a product called Ring Stop from Naturalcare...also I'm under extreme financial stress and I just had a relationship breakup..(yeah life
is hard..but I'm standing up to it)..that is pretty much the whole story thank you ever so much if you can be of any help..

I thank you for all the details that you supplied regarding your tinnitus and your general health. When I get detailed information such as you have supplied it makes it so much easier for me to help you choose the correct tinnitus relief treatment. I am pretty certain that the main cause of your tinnitus is cochlear damage and this has been a result of the firecracker incident when you were a young child. In addition you mention that the chocolate chip cookies seemed to aggravate your tinnitus, I know that this happens with certain individuals and too much salt is not good in any event for one's general health.
You also mention that you have been under stress due to finances and a relationship breakup, the stress will most certainly worsen your tinnitus condition.
However to achieve effective lasting relief from your tinnitus you need to treat the root cause of your tinnitus which is most definitely
