My tinnitus sounds are a constant ringing and buzzing in both ears. I have asthma and coped. The ear ringing and buzzing causes hearing and sleep problems and is driving me to insanity. I had root canal treatment, and bridge work. I also had a blood clot in the base of my skull and was put on blood thiners for two weeks.

Hello Katherine,
The most prevalent for of tinnitus is that which is caused by cochlear damage. This is normally from exposure to noise but is also often from root canal treatments that cause cochlea damage from the shock and noise of the procedure. I believe this is what you are experiencing as the ringing and buzzing noises you describe are typical of Type 4 tinnitus as this particular tinnitus type is known.
