Tinnitus started about 3 months ago. The tinnitus sounds like the high pitch buzz of the power lines in the summer. Just recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and high sugar level. Also have some minor dizziness. About a year ago I was put to sleep for a root canal and some fillings because my teeth are very sensitive.

It is most likley that the ROOT CAUSE of your tinnitus is cochlear damage. Tinnitus of this type is normally caused from loud noise or inner and middle ear infections. Type 4 tinnitus as cochlear damage is known is also often the result of root canal treatment and other head and dental surgery.
