Client Asked
Tinnitus, a ringing in the ear: Since this past december I was driving in my car with my windows down and the radio with volume were I can hear ok not heart pounding. When I look to my right at a stop sign, wind blew into my ear and it felt like someone smacked my left ear and the ringing on my left ear has been their since. I took a cat scan and a MRI and it showed nothing. I'm desperate and angered because no one can tell just what is causing this ringing. Thank You for your time...
Our Response:
Hello Geo,
The most likely cause of your tinnitus is cochlear damage from exposure to loud noise. It does not take much to damage the delicate inner ear organs and hearing loss in the higher frequencies and tinnitus from cochlea damage is very common. The tinnitus noise associated with cohlea damage is a high pitched ringing in the ears.
We do have a very success rate with this tinnitus type, Geo and you can reasonably look forward to getting relief from your tinnitus.
I have explained how this type of tinnitus occurs and also how we can help you in the link below.
