I have had tinnitis for longer than 5 years...
Richard Asked:
What can I do to reduce or cure tinnitus?
Our Response:
Hello Cornelis,
Fortunately, we have a high success rate with Type 4 tinnitus, which is cochlear damage or noise induced tinnitus.
This is also the most common tinnitus type and the prevalnce of this type of tinnitus and hearing loss is actually growing alarmingly around the world.
When an external noise is experienced the many thousands of little hairs in the cochlea are stimulated. As and when an external sound is detected the tiny hairs move and send signals through the auditory nerve which is interpreted as a sound by your brain.
The movements of the hairs in the inner ear can be likened to a field of grass moving in tune with the wind.
These little hair cells and those delicate auditory nerves get damaged easily when exposed to sudden loud noises. Obviously those that are unfortunate enough to work in a very loud environment or frequent loud clubs over a period of time will suffer more damage.
Any type of surgery to the head can also cause noise induced tinnitus.
Loss of hearing is not reversible but our noise tinnitus remedies have successfully lowered the tinnitus levels of many thousands of tinnitus sufferers.
