Sean Asked:
Tinnitus: I have been suffering from noises from in my ear. I doubt very much that its tinnitus because it is not a ringing noise in my ears that i get after coming out of a night club or from a disco.
I get this pulsating/ Fluttering sound and it's almost a sound of drums being thumped....its a 'thump thump, thump sound and occurs every other minute for a few times then stops for five minutes then starts again...I 've been to the doctor to look down my ears several times and they say that there is nothing wrong so it's obviously in then inner ear beyond my ear drum!
What could the noise be? i suffer from involuntary muscle witches..so could it be a muscle twitching in my ear or even a spasm? Please email me back on your thoughts or ideas.
Many thanks Sean
Our Response:
Hello Sean,
Thanks for the excellent description of your tinnitus, this makes it so much easier for me to help you choose the correct tinnitus relief remedy. This is obviously important, for one to get effective lasting relief from tinnitus. When an external noise is experienced the thousands of little hairs in the inner ear are stimulated.
When a noise is heard by the ears and these small hairs start moving, impulses are sent through the nerve which your brain interprets as sound.
The agitation of the hairs in the cochlea can be likened to a field of long grass rippling in tune with the breeze.
The cilia in the inner ear are easily broken from the pressures generated by extreme blasts of sounds. The inner ear damage is all the more amplified if you are a habitual concert goer or worked in a loud environment for a long time.
Any type of surgery to the head can also cause noise induced tinnitus.
Damage to hearing is most certainly incurable however the tinnitus remedies have been very successful at dramatically and permanentlyreducing the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
The ears and inner ear structures are extremely delicate and sensitive and therefore damage can occur quite easily. In my experience I have never come accross
tinnitus due to muscle twitching or muscle spasm, your problem sounds to me more likely to be from cochlea damage.
