I was tested for tinnitus two years ago and they found that I had a slight hearing loss in my right ear.

I have constant ear ringing in that ear and have been taking Ginko for over a year without much success.

The doctor wasn't sure but thought it was "vascular" in nature.

I did have a slip and fall on ice where I hit the back of my head several months before I noticed the ringing and deadening sensation in my ear, but the doctor did not seem to think it was related to my tinnitus/

When a noise is received by the ears and the auditory hairs start moving, electric signals are sent via the auditory nerve which your brain deciphers as a noise.
