Tinnitus: I would like to be able to click on several of the tinnitus causes above- Eardrum damage sustained at age 6, lifelong sinus and hayfever allergies, currently unemployed so have a high degree of stress, may have some nerve damage as I have had reduced hearing in the left ear since age 5, currenlty taking medication for high blood pressure.Even though I have had the ringing in my ears for 45 years, the condition has worsened drastically in the last few weeks. Ranging from the usual ringing to a very high pitched ringing and roaring.I am often unable to sleep, this is a new occurrance.

I know that it can be confusing trying to determine the actual root cause of one's tinnitus, however I will do my best to assist you in choosing the correct tinnitus relief medication, in order for you to achieve lasting effective relief.

The cilia in the inner ear are easily broken from the huge pressures generated by sudden bursts of sounds. The damage is made worse if you have played in a band or have worked in a loud environment for a long time.
