I thank you for the excellent description of your tinnitus, this makes it so much easier for me to help you choose the correct tinnitus relief remedy. Obviously one needs to take the correct tinnitus medication in order to achieve effective lasting tinnitus relief.
Garry, the ears and inner ear structures are delicate and sensitive and therefore damage can happen quite easily. The loud noise that you were exposed to at the concert has resulted in cochlea damage induced tinnitus.This is the most common cause of tinnitus.When an external noise is heard the thousands of little hairs in the inner ear are stimulated.
When a sound gets discerned by the ears and these minute hairs move, impulses are sent through the nerve which your brain interprets as a noise.
The movements of the hairs in the inner ear can be likened to a field of long grass rippling in time with the wind.
The cilia in the inner ear are easily damaged from the pressures generated by sudden bursts of sounds. Obviously those that are unfortunate enough to work in a noisy place or visit loud places over a period of time will experience more damage.
The inner ear and its delicate structures are also damaged by a severe blow to the head The tiny hairs often get bent out of shape or even broken and then randomly transmit electric pulses directly to the brain which interprets them as a sound, although there is no sound present.
Any type of surgery to the head can also cause hearing loss.
Damage to hearing is most certainly incurable however the ringing in the ears remedies have been very successful at dramatically and permanently lowering the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
