Cochlea damage, hearing loss and tinnitus...
Client Asked:
The tinnitus was caused by my exposure to loud noise
Our Response:
Hello Michael,
It is actually a major problem the damage that is caused from exposure to loud noise. This normally leads to Cochlea damage which in turn results in tinnitus.
We can however help you get relief from your tinnitus, as we have achieved a very high rate of success in treating this particular type of tinnitus, which we refer to as type 4 tinnitus. When an external noise is heard the thousands of small hairs in the cochlea are stimulated.
As and when an external sound is detected the minute hairs sway and send impulses via the auditory nerve which is interpreted as a sound by your brain.
Agition then cause a movement of all those minute hair nerve cells, very similar to a field of wheat on a farm shifting in time with the wind.
The cilia in the inner ear are easily broken from the huge pressures generated by extreme blasts of sounds. The inner ear damage is made worse if you are a band member or worked in a noisy factory for a long time.
The inner ear and its delicate structures are also easily damaged by a severe blow to the head If damage occurs and the cilia are damaged or bent they can send random signals to the brain which are interpreted as a sound even though none is present.
Noise related cochlear damage tinnitus which can cause a ringing in the ears often is a result of ear wax removals, ear candling, swimming accidents, hurting yourself playing sports, dental surgery.
Hearing loss is not reversible however the tinnitus treatments have been very successful at dramatically and permanentlylowering the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
