The ears are so sensitive and delicate that it is very easy to cause damage and in a lot of cases one is not even aware of it.
However, nine times out of ten, tinnitus is the result of damage to the ears. I do however have good news, we can successfully
help you get relief from this particular type of tinnitus, which we refer to as type 4.There are millions of tiny hairs housed in the cochlea that move when you perceive noise.
When a noise is heard by the ears and these small hairs start moving, impulses are sent through the nerve which your brain interprets as sound.
These microscopic hair cells and those easily damaged auditory nerves get damaged easily when exposed to loud noises. Obviously those that are unfortunate enough to work in a noisy place or frequent very noisy clubs over a period of time will experience further damage.
Tinnitus from noise (cochlea damage tinnitus) is also caused by scuba diving accidents, swimming pool incidents, ear wax removals etc.
