Client Asked:
Can you please explain what Auditory Nerve Damage is and what are the tinnitus symptoms?
Our Response:
Hello Trevor,
This is damage to the Auditory pathways and results in hearing loss.
However, people often confuse auditory nerve damage with outer or middle ear damage such as damage to the the ear drum. If you have suffered damage to the ear drum, this does not mean you have auditory nerve damage. The ears and inner ear structures are very delicate and sensitive organs and can be damaged so easily it is frightening.I don't know if you have been tested for Auditory Nerve damage but I really doubt that you have this rare condition. I believe that you have damage that has resulted in tinnitus and possibly affected your hearing, although this is not permanent. I do know however, that our tinnitus relief remedy - for this particular type of tinnitus, which we refer to as type 4, will give you the relief from your tinnitus, that you need. When an external noise is experienced the thousands of tiny hairs in the cochlea are stimulated.
When a noise is heard by the ears and these minute hairs move, impulses are sent through the auditory nerve which your brain interprets as a noise.
The cilia in the cochlea are easily damaged from the huge pressures generated by sudden bursts of sounds. Obviously those that are unfortunate enough to work in a very loud environment or frequent very noisy pubs over a period of time will experience more damage.
The inner ear and its delicate structures are also damaged by a strong blow to the head If damage occurs and the cilia are damaged or bent they can send random signals to the brain which are interpreted as a sound even though none is present.
Tinnitus from noise (cochlea damage tinnitus) is also caused by scuba diving accidents, swimming pool incidents, ear wax removals etc.
Damage to hearing is incurable nevertheless the tinnitis treatments have been very successful at dramatically and permanentlylowering the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
