I also take quinine sulfate on occasion (twice a month), and took anti-depression drugs though I haven't taken those in 6 years. Mostly I think the tinnitus is from wearing a walkman, telephone headset, and cleaning my ears too much. I have a constant ringing in my left ear which doesn't bother me during the day but bothers me a lot when I try go to sleep and when I meditate. Do you suggest I get both the T4 and T8 medication?

Hello Victoria,

It does indeed seem to me that cochlea damage from being exposed to loud noises and cleaning your ears is the cause of your tinnitus. I do not think you would get any benefit from taking the Type 8 remedy at this stage and would advise that you only oder the Type 4 tinnitus remedy at this stage.When an external sound is heard the thousands of tiny hairs in the inner ear are stimulated.

When a sound gets discerned by the ears and these small hairs move, impulses are sent through the nerve which your brain interprets as a sound.

Agition then result in a movement of all those minute hair nerve cell, very similar to a field of wheat on a farm swaying in concert with the wind.

These microscopic hair cells and those tiny auditory nerves are easy to break when exposed to sudden loud noises. Obviously those that are unfortunate enough to work in a noisy place or frequent loud places over a period of time will suffer more damage.

These delicate organs can also be damaged from a knock on the head. If damage happens and the cilia are damaged or bent they can send random signals to the brain which are interpreted as noise even though none is present.

Any type of surgery to the head can also result in noise induced tinnitus.
