Hello Ed,

I would just like to thank you for your questions regarding tinnitus from noise and drugs that cause tinnitus. I will deal with each separately as they are totally different although they do both cause tinnitus.

When one is subjected to noise the cochlear in the inner often gets damaged resulting in high frequency hearing loss and tinnitus.

Prescription and over the counter drugs are also a major cause of tinnitus.
