Tinnitus: | I have had continual pulsing in my right ear, along with a high pitch ringing that is also constant for over 2 months now. I had my cholesterol checked in April. It was 239, HDL was 65, LDL was 154. I was told at the time that my cholesterol is borderline, but my good cholesterol is high so my risk ratio is normal. I am currently seeing a chiropractor and having back and neck adjustments, plus cutting out all caffeine, and having very little salt or sugar. My acid level was high, and the diet and exercise have helped that. I was hoping that this would take care of the tinnitus, but it has not decreased at all and I have a hard time sleeping at night. Could this be related to high cholesterol? The pulsing does seem to be in time with my heartbeat. I did have a cold and sore throat when this started at the end of March. My doctor said my ear looked fine, there was no infection. I do have some hearing loss in the right ear since this started.
Hello Lynn, The tinnitus you are experiencing that is pulsating in time with your heartbeat is amost certainly caused from the high cholesterol levels and you can get more information on how to treat this tinnitus type in the link below. Lynn you have also experienced hearing loss which indicates some cochlear
damage has occurred and you will need to use a different remedy to treat
that type of tinnitus. Type 4 tinnitus (cochlear damage I have also discussed this in more detail below. I would recommend that you take both of these tinnitus remedies in conjunction to adequately treat your tinnitus. This will also help you to sleep at night. tinnitus |
