I have had tinnitus for most of adult life, started from shooting guns, never went away. also now have high
cholesterol,high blood pressure, taking medications & vitamins c,e b12, lutein,tricor & diltiazem er 240mg,also went to ear doctor recently & he removed wax which made it worse. it is now a screaming sound.my age is 67.

I thank you for your detailed information supplied herein. From the information supplied you have most certainly suffered cochlea damage, not only from having the wax removed, but from shooting guns as well.

With your high levels of cholesterol, high blood pressure your tinnitus will become affected even further. It is usually not just the plain levels that cause tinnitus, but when the LDL is usually above 5, with the apolipo protein “A” being raised.
