I had sinus surgery, to remove pallups and reduce inflamation. 3 months latter I got a sinus infection that was not corrected in a timely manner. (not allergy season so they didn't treat with effectivemedicine) Over the next month a began to have a ringing in my left ear. Based on the tinnitus information you have supplied, I believe that the root cause of your tinnitus is two fold. You have obviously suffered with sinus and related problems over the years and and this is the one major cause of your tinnitus.
