Tinnitus: I have had bouts of vertigo for over 15 years, but thankfully very widespread over that period of time, and no attacks over the last year. However, I have had a fullness (bubble like sensation) in my right hear since December. I am on a diaretic (25 mg. Maxide) as prescribed by an ENT to reduce excess salt, however, I am very carefull with my salt intake to begin with. I have hearing loss in that ear, not deaf, but I will turn my head and lead with the left ear to listen. I am a teacher, so you can see how important hearing is to me. I occasionally take TRIMOX 500 mg. to eliminate sinus problems that I chronically have. That is, bad taste in mouth and tightness and dryness in sinus area. The ringing, hissing, etc. are more pronounced after riding my ride-on mower. I do wear commercial "ear-muffs" to protect myself from the loud noise. I have read your description, I definately fit into a number of your categories, but I really have difficutly making a valid judgement.
Our Response:
Hello Kenneth,
I am glad to hear that the vertigo attacks have subsided somewhat. Kenneth, the sinuses/allergies that you are suffering from are the root cause of your tinnitus. When there is a fullness or a pressure build up it does cause the fluids within the ears to cause you vertigo and perhaps some nausea. A low sodium diet is recommended, but not enough to assist you with the blockage within your Eustachian tubes. Our remedies are designed to drain whatever build up or blockage there is and by continual use of the remedies excessive amounts of mucous will be drained.
Being a teacher would also cause you to suffer from exposure to loud noises. These noises will and can also affect the levels of your tinnitus.
I would suggest that you look at 2 different types of remedies, being the type 4 remedy for cochlea damage as well as the type 3 remedy for sinuses/allergies to give you the relief that you so rightfully deserve.
