It is good to hear that the sensitivty to sounds has reduced to manageable levels. If that is no longer a problem I would not consider the Hyperacusis treatment remedies.With regards to your tinnitus I believe the tinnitus you are suffering from is being caused by cochlear damage.The part of the brain and interconnected systems in the cerebellum, like the Pons, the ventricular system can result in initiating a ringing in the ears.
Ideally the optimum way to relieve stress related tinnitus is to remove the conditions or situations that are responsible for the stress We refer to this as Type 4 Tinnitus.
This type of tinnitus is caused by a blow to the head such as you must have experienced.It would seem that you are suffering a great deal of stress and it is possible that this is also aggravating your tinnitus condition.I have included two links below which gives you a great deal more information regarding both tinnitus types.I believe it will be beneficial to you to take both of these tinnitus treatment remedies in conjunction with each other.
