My tinnitus started
1) In 1997, started with feeling anxiety over an incident and felt pressure in my head heating up. I was having a flu too at that time. Felt my left ear going blocked and sudden imbalance. My doctor recommended blowing my nose which aggravated situation. Tinnitus develops. No improvement after seeing ENT in hospital.
2) Noted that loud sounds causes some disturbance in my ear and gives me headache with roaring noise but sometimes, feels like it 'cleared' the path and can hear clearly before it was blocked again. When on vacation and good sleep, no tinnitus and can hear clearly. But this 'ear good condition' when good sleep or stress-free slowly became less and nowadays, never occur. I do note that I'm usually very uptight with not much of a baby's night sleep. I've got two young kids.
3) In 1999, six months after birth of my first child, had vertigo attacks and was diagnosed by ENT that I had Meniere's Disease. However, none of their medication helped. Finally, my childhood GP gave me relaxing medication for my brain and some sleeping pills which lessen my vertigo attacks. My GP says it's post natal depression.
4) I turned to spiritual help which further lessen my vertigo to nil currently and initially, could hear quite well. After birth of 2nd child, did have a mild Meniere's like imbalance and near vertigo attacks which I decided to treat it like post natal depression syndrome.
5) Currently, no vertigo but tinnitus like ringing noise which gets louder and more hearing loss (or more ear block) when I'm more stressed. I do hear 'cracking' sounds in my ear depending on how I adjust my jaw. Few occasions, feel itchy inside my left ear and especially if my daughter screams into my ear. Another funny thing is when I use my left ear to listen into phone earpiece, the voice sounds distorted with 'electrical current'.
6) I depend on my good right ear to listen but sometimes, my right ear do feel 'tired' with over reliance and feels slightly painful.

Thank you for the excellent description of your tinnitus condition and the history behind it. When I get such detailed information it makes it so much easier for me to help you choose the correct tinnitus relief remedy. Obviously this is important, as one cannot get effective lasting relief if the correct tinnitus relief medication is not taken.From what you have told me, it is obvious that you have suffered with Meniere's disease and although you now seem to have the episodes of vertigo under control, you are still suffering with the tinnitus that accompanies Meniere's disease.The part of the brain and affiliated systems in the brain, such as the Pons, the corpus callosum, the brain stem, the ventricular system can result in being the root cause of noises.
The hypothalamus is a primitive part of the cerebrum situated below the 3rd ventricle. It guides lots of systems in the human body, such as the pituitary gland.
Ideally the choisest way to cure stress related ear ringing is to remove the problems that are responsible for the stress.
This particular type of tinnitus is cochlear damage induced tinnitus. Tinnitus from cocholear damage is also accompanied by hearing loss in the higher frequencies. I know that you marked Sinus, Allergies and nasal problems which you could very well have been suffering with, when you had the flu and pressure building up in your head, the blocked left ear and imbalance that you experienced. This has however definitely caused cochlear damage and it happens fairly often.
Sandra, in addition to this stress seems to have played a huge contributing factor in aggravating and even contributing to your tinnitus. It seems very likely that you are suffering with two different types of tinnitus, namely cochlear damage and stress induced tinnitus.This happens very often and is best treated by taking two different tinnitus relief remedies, in conjunction with each other.The remedies in question are Type 4 for cochlear damage and Type 7 for stress induced tinnitus.
