The fact that you are experiencing two or more types of tinnitis means that you will need to adopt a multi-faceted approach in the treatment of your tinnitus. TMJ wil not cause a high pitched ringing in the ears and can be discounted as the cause of your tinnitus.
That leaves you with stress and exposure to loud noises as the cause of your ringing in the ears and tinnitus.The part of the brain and interconnected systems in the human brain, such as the Pons, the corpus callosum, the brain stem, the ventricular system do result in being the root cause of tinnitus.
Ideally the choisest way to deal with stress related noises is to remove or modify the problems or situations that are responsible for the stress.
