My tinnitus started early when I had a few bad ear infections when I was young. That ended at about age 17. At that age I took a trip to Italy from the US and it was a long and ear painful flight. Turns out about 5 years later and ent told me my eardrum had collapsed. The tinnitus came first in late 1990. After that I started becoming obsessed by the tinnitus and it started to ruin my life. I went on Paxil to help the stress and it kind of did but nothing really noticeable. I am now off the paxil and working in about the most stressful career. This run with tinnitus has lasted about 1 year on and off and has been the worst yet. I walk 1 mile a day and belive it or not that will ease the tinnitus. I find that the more upset I get with the tinnitus the longer it last and the louder it is. I just can't pinpoint the main cause, stress, the music, the eardrum.
Stress as of now seems to to be the main cause. I went just about all of 2002 tinnitus free untill a death in the family. The tinnitus lasted about a month after that. I forgot to mention that the tinnitus also caused me OCD. I obsess about the tinnitus almost all day when it's at it's worst, which is where I am now. I am taking zinc, a B complex, garlic and loads of C. I tried to give as much info as I could to help. I appriciate this very much.

You most certainly are correct in that the more prone to stress you become the higher and louder your tinnitus levels are going to be raised. What has further aggravated your tinnitus is the death within your family. Due to the high levels of stress that you are faced with I most certainly would suggest that you look at a 12 weeks supply of type 7 remedy, bearing in mind that these remedies are in no way an overnight quick fix, but rather a slow healing process.The part of the brain and affiliated systems in the human cerebrum, like the Pons, the pituitary fossa, the basal cisterns, the ventricular system do play a part in initiating ear ringing.
