induced tinnitus, we refer to this as type 3. The fact that it started after a long flight, only further serves to
confirm this.It is very normal for individuals who have sinus problems to sometimes experience tinnitus symptoms. This is because the mucous builds up and eventually blocks the internal ear canal which causes pressure and may induce the ear ringing symptoms. This added build up of pressure can not only cause tinnitus but also some inner ear infections.Sufferers of sinusitis, rhinitis and allergies will sure enough at some point in their lives hear tinnitus sounds. Tinnitus from sinus may also be caused by your body reacting to drugs, antibiotics or antihistamines. After long periods of consuming antibiotics or antihistamines to control the sinus problems tinnitus is often noticed. It is the antibiotics and antihistamines that cause the mucous in the inner ear to become too thick and viscous to easily drain away through the very narrow Eustachian tubes.
