My tinnitus is a fullness in my ears. The ringing stops and comes back. I was taking a prescription for a bronchitis. I often have sinus problems. I am often exposed to extreme cold weather.
Our Response:
Dear Blanche,
I am delighted that you contacted me and I feel certain that I can help you choose the correct tinnitus relief remedy for your tinnitus condition. This is obviously important as one cannot expect effective lasting relief from tinnitus if the correct tinnitus relief medication is not taken.
You mention that you were taking medication for bronchitis and you think this medication has caused your tinnitus. However it is far more likely that due to the continued sinus problems and then having the bronchitis, as well as the fullness in your ears, that you have a sinus induced tinnitus which causes the mucous to build up and as it is unable to drain away the feeling of pressure and fullness in the ears.It is very ordinary for individuals who have sinus problems to occasionally experience tinnitus symptoms. This is because the mucous builds up and ultimately blocks the internal ear canal which causes pressure and leads to the ringing ear symptoms.
This additional build up of pressure can not only cause tinnitus but also some inner ear infections.Sufferers of sinusitis, rhinitis and allergies will certainly at some point in their lives hear tinnitis sounds. Tinnitus from sinus may also be caused by your body reacting to drugs, antibiotics or antihistamines. After long periods of being on antibiotics or antihistamines to restrain the sinus problems tinnitis is often noticed.
It is the antibiotics and antihistamines that cause the mucous in the inner ear to become too thick and viscous to easily drain out through the very narrow Eustachian tubes. Due to the Eustachian tubes being very narrow this additional build up of mucous in the inner ear canal will start causing problems and maybe even tinnitus.
Blanche, it is unfortunate but normally sinus problems are treated with Decongestants and anti-histamines which give short term relief but long term they only compound one's problem.
We have an excellent tinnitus relief remedy for sinus induced tinnitus, which has helped many tinnitus sufferers all over the world get lasting tinnitus relief.
