The tinnitus is a hissing, very high-pitched noise deep inside my head. I had a molar abstracted in April 2004 and soon thereafter all this tinnitis started. A have seen an ear specialist who says that I have TMJ. He suggested I wear my mouth guard and take Aleve to relieve the TMJ symptoms. I also take Hyzaar 100/25, for past 4 years. My doctor has told me to cut tablets in half and try this dosage for two weeks, to see if the tinnitis is alleviated since the mouth guard and Aleve are not helping. I am unsteady on my feet when I first get up in the mornings and seem to not have slept most nights. I am often sleepy in the daytime or early evening. I do frequently feel pressure in my ears and slight pain or pressure above my ears, actually at top of cheekbones.
Dear Frances, I thank you for the detailed information supplied herein. This truly makes it easier in assisting you with the best suited remedy to treat your tinnitus.
Frances, by feeling that you have not had any form of sleep or the lack thereof is truly a side effect for those suffering from TMJ. By not having enough sleep the tinnitus becomes affected, causing you not only to suffer further, but affect you with forms of depression. Chemicals within the brain can and do produce depression. Along with depression comes an inability to get a good night's sleep. The balance and facial pains that you are suffering from are also related to the TMJ that you are suffering from.
Help is at bay, and to ensure that you obtain the relief of your TMJ that you are suffering, we recommend that you look at the TMJ Course of remedies. | Home | Site
