Client asked:
Tinnitus: My tinnitus started from Ibuprofen. That I damaged the inner ear hairs. The noise is a high pitch buzzing noise and lately is getting more frequent and at at higher frequency.
Our response:
Hello Leslie,
I am glad that you contacted us, as I feel pretty certain that our tinnitus relief remedies can help you get relief from your tinnitus. In order to get effective lasting tinnitus relief, it is very important to take the correct tinnitus relief formula. The fact that you mention damage to the inner ear hairs would definitely confirm cochlea damage induced tinnitus. When an external sound is experienced the many thousands of small hairs in the cochlea are stimulated.
Whenever an external noise is picked up the minute hairs sway and send signals through the auditory nerve which is interpreted as a noise by your brain.
The movements of the hairs in the cochlea can be likened to a field of grass moving in time with the breeze.
These microscopic hair cells and those infinitesimal auditory nerves get damaged easily when subjected to sudden loud noises. The inner ear damage is made worse if you are a band member or worked in a noisy factory for a long time.
Tinnitus from noise (cochlea damage tinnitus) is also often a result of scuba diving accidents, swimming pool incidents, ear wax removals etc.
Hearing loss is incurable however the ringing in the ears treatments have been very successful at reducing the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
This cochlea damage induced tinnitus also results in hearing loss in the higher frequencies. This could have been caused as a result of taking Ibuprofen.
