Our response:
Hello Sharon,
Your tinnitus was most certainly caused from the fall and injury to your head. Having the holes drilled into your head to drain the fluid has also caused you to suffer from cochlear damage. When an external sound is heard the thousands of tiny hairs in the cochlea are stimulated.
Whenever an external noise is detected the tiny hairs sway and send signals through the auditory nerve which is interpreted as a sound by your brain.
The movements of the hairs in the cochlea can be likened to a field of grass rippling in tune with the wind.
These small hair cells and those infinitesimal auditory nerves get damaged easily when exposed to loud noises. The inner ear damage is made worse if you are a habitual concert goer or have worked in a loud environment for a long time.
These delicate organs can also be damaged from a knock on the head. If damage occurs and those tiny hairs are broken or bent they can send random signals to the brain which are interpreted as a sound even though none is present.
Noise related cochlear damage tinnitus which can cause a ringing in the ears often is caused ear wax removals, a procedure known as ear candling, swimming accidents, sports injuries, head or dental surgery.
Hearing loss is most certainly not reversible however the ringing in the ears remedies have been very successful at reducing the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
I have enclosed some additional information explaining how the type 4 remedy for cochlea damage works and why it would be best suited for your tinnitus that you are suffering from.
