Tinnitus: My tinnitus started after medications, Stress over divorce, 15 years ago when ringing started, partial hearing loss, a rifle discharged in front of my face 50 years ago, load noise from weapons while in service 46 years ago. Ringing continues to get louder and I am having trouble sleeping as it is too loud to mask.

Hello John,

It is obvious that your exposure to loud noise over many years has caused cochlea damage, which results in tinnitus. Tinnitus from cochlea damage also causes hearing loss in the higher frequencies.
