My tinnitus causes the feeling of having water in my ear.

Tinnitus: My tinnitus causes the feeling of having water in my ear so Cleaned it with a cotton bud. When it did not go I went to see my GP who prescribed Waxsol eardops. When these had no effect I had my ear washed out at the clinic.
This resulted in a lot of pain and a course of anti-biotics and some Gentamin + Hydrocortisone drops. This seemed to clear things up but after 2 weeks or so I began to experience a rumbling in my left ear rather than normal hearing. This lasted for variable amounts of time, from 10 minutes to 12 hours. I have visited my GP on several occasions since and they have said my ear is clear of infection. I am currently on a waiting list to see an ear specialist.
One morning a few days ago I awoke to a roaring noise in my left ear. This abated after an hour so but left me with a ringing noise. The following morning the roaring sound had reaturned. Again it abated quickly but as before I was left with a ringing sound which has not left me since. I have re-visited my GP who did not really give me any direction other than to say my ear is still clear of infection. Although I have not had this for long I am keen to act as quickly as possible to do something about it before it gets any worse.
I take 30mg of Lisinopil daily together with 2.5mg of Bendrofluazide for high blood pressure. I have had this condition for around 6 years.
I have recently been prescibed Dothiepin in 75mg dose daily for mild depression symptoms. Tis is a drug I took for about 12 months 2 years ago.
