Although you have not supplied a great deal of information, the important thing that you mention is that you think your tinnitus is a result of continuous telephone conversations over a period of 30 years.

I would presume that this was in your line of work. It is actually quite scary how easily the inner ear structures can be damaged and exposure to continual noise is a major cause of cochlea damage which leaves one with the noise being tinnitus.

This damage can happen over a long period of time and the tinnitus often only starts up at a much later stage.
