Client asked:
Tinnitus: I am a drummer and have been playing for over five years. 90% of the time I wear foam earplugs or musicians earplugs. I have been to and played gigs without earplugs though, but I've never really had anything with my slight tinnitus to worry about, until now.
I went to a gig the other week and found that my ears are maybe a little worse off than what they were. It might just be in the mind because I have been worrying badly about it. I get a slight hiss in both ears and in the right there is also a low-pitched whooshing sound. The sound is at a level I can live with, I'm comfortable with it, but I just don't want it to get worse.
In the last few days I've noticed there's been a build up of pressure in my ears (everything sounds slightly boxy), is that due to the stress, because I've been worrying? It comes and goes in my left ear, but not the right. I was wondering whether I should have my ears looked at, because there may be a build up of wax in each one since I wear earplugs all the time and that might be pushing it back in. I hope you can help!
Our response:
Hello Will,
I thank you for the detailed description of your tinnitus, information such as this makes it so much easier for me to help you choose the correct tinnitus relief remedy. In order to achieve effective lasting tinnitus relief it is obviously critical that the correct tinnitus relief formula is taken.A little known fact is that there are literally millions of tiny hairs in the inner ear that are affected by the great pressures of sound waves as a result of external sound.
Whenever an external sound is detected the tiny hairs move and send signals through the auditory nerve which is interpreted as a sound by your brain.
The agitation of the hairs in the cochlea can be likened to a field of long grass moving in time with the breeze.
The cilia in the inner ear are easily broken from the pressures generated by sudden bursts of sounds. The inner ear damage is made worse if you are a band member or have worked in a noisy factory for a long time.
Tinnitus from noise (cochlea damage tinnitus) is also often caused by scuba diving accidents, swimming pool incidents, removals of ear wax etc.
Hearing loss is most certainly incurable however the tinnitus remedies have been very successful at dramatically and permanently lowering the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
Will, the fact that you are a musician and have been exposed to loud noise over many years would confirm that the root cause of your tinnitus is cochlea damage. Cochlea damage induced tinnitus also causes hearing loss in the higher frequencies. Stress is a major aggravation to tinnitus, however this is definitely not the root cause of your tinnitus.
Our tinnitus relief remedy for this particular type of tinnitus has helped many tinnitus sufferers worldwide get effective tinnitus relief. Will, I have provided further information below regarding cochlea damage induced tinnitus.
