My tinnitus started after I was taking a med that had Quinine in it...
Client asked:
Tinnitus: My tinnitus started after I was taking a med that had Quinine in it. After taking this med for several months I suddenly awoke with a ringing in my ears. Mt doctor imediately took me off of the quinine and the ringing subsided but has never gone completely away.
Recently, I experience short periods of a loud ringing in my ears. This only lasts for about 2 minutes and then stops. It occurs several times during the day. I am wearing a hearing aide for my loss of hearing.
The audiologist says I have nerve damage which is untreatable. The ringing in my ears really is nerve racking.Hopefully, you can recommend something that might relieve this problem.
Our response:
Hello Gene,
I thank you for the details regarding your tinnitus and the history behind it. Information such as this makes it so much easier for me to help you choose the correct tinnitus relief remedy. When an external noise is heard the thousands of little hairs in the inner ear are stimulated.
When a sound gets discerned by the ears and these minute hairs start moving, signals are sent through the nerve which your brain interprets as a sound.
The agitation of the hairs in the inner ear can be likened to a field of long grass rippling in time with the wind.
The hairs in the inner ear are easily broken from the pressures generated by extreme blasts of sounds. The damage is made worse if you have played in a band or have worked in a loud environment for a long time.
Any type of surgery to the head can also result in hearing loss.
Hearing loss is most certainly not reversible nevertheless the ringing in the ears remedies have been very successful at reducing the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
Although your tinnitus seemed to start up as a result of the medication that you took, it sounds very likely that you are suffering from cochlea damage induced tinnitus. The reason I think this is that you mention nerve damage and very often cochlea damage is diagnosed as nerve damage.
Gene, our tinnitus relief remedy for cochlea damage induced tinnitus has achieved excellent results and helped many tinnitus sufferers, wolrdwide, get effective tinnitus relief.
