Client asked:
Tinnitus: My tinnitus is a loud sound in both ears that I believe are equal in tone and loudness. I have always believed it was due to serving as a 4 engine bomber pilot in WW2.
In a B24 the pilots sit between two engines on each wing. There was little or no sound protection. typical flights were 6 or 7 hours.
Our response:
Hello Joe,
"You Have Hit The Nail, Right On The Head" exposure to the loud noise during your years as a Bomber Pilot, has definitely caused cochlea damage which results in the tinnitus. Cochlea damage induced tinnitus also causes hearing loss in the higher frequencies.Did you know that there are thousands of diminutive hairs in the cochlea that are influenced by sound waves caused by external noise.
When a sound gets discerned by the ears and these minute hairs start moving, impulses are sent through the nerve which your brain interprets as a sound.
These little hair cells and those delicate auditory nerves get damaged easily when exposed to sudden loud noises. The inner ear damage is all the more amplified if you are a habitual concert goer or have worked in a noisy factory for a long time.
These sensitive organs can also be damaged from a knock on the head. The tiny hairs often get bent out of shape or even broken and then randomly send electric pulses directly to the brain which interprets them as a noise, although there is no sound present.
Noise related cochlear damage tinnitus which can cause a ringing in the ears often is caused ear wax removals, a procedure known as ear candling, swimming accidents, hurting yourself playing sports, head or dental surgery.
Hearing loss is permanent but our noise tinnitus remedies have successfully reduced the ear ringing levels of many thousands of tinnitus sufferers.
