Client asked:
Tinnitus: My tinnitus I think started 35 yrs. ago from a loud military shooting range accident where I did not have earplugs and my left ear was blocked for about 3 days.
I experience a pulsing cricket type of noise primarily in my left ear. If I tense my jaw or neck it gets louder. My family has a history of sinus problems this might be a factor also.
Our response:
Hello William,
Your exposure to loud noise, as a result of the shooting range accident has caused damage to the inner ear structures. This is cochlea damage and results in ringing in the ears and the various different noises that one hears which is tinnitus. Cochlea damage induced tinnitus also causes hearing loss in the higher frequencies. When an external noise is heard the thousands of tiny hairs in the inner ear are stimulated.
As and when an external sound is detected the minute hairs sway and send signals through the auditory nerve which is interpreted as a noise by your brain.
The agitation of the hairs in the inner ear can be likened to a field of long grass rippling in tune with the wind.
These little hair cells and those tiny auditory nerves get damaged easily when subjected to loud noises. The damage is made worse if you are a habitual concert goer or worked in a loud environment for a long time.
These delicate organs can also be damaged from a knock on the head. The tiny hairs often get bent out of shape or broken and then randomly produce electric pulses directly to the brain which interprets them as a noise, although there is no sound present.
Tinnitus from noise (cochlea damage tinnitus) is also often caused by scuba diving accidents, swimming incidents, removals of ear wax etc.
Hearing loss is incurable nevertheless the tinnitis treatments have been very successful at dramatically and permanently lowering the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
In addition the problem that you have with Sinus has also either contributed to or aggravated this cochlea damage. Fortunately, our tinnitus relief remedy for cochlea damage induced tinnitus has an excellent rate of success and has helped many tinnitus sufferers from all over the world, achieve effective lasting tinnitus relief.
