Why tinnitus is caused by taking several kinds of medication...
Client asked:
Tinnitus: My tinnitus is caused by taking several kinds of medication. I have TMJ and high cholesterol. I take medication for my high cholesterol. I have year round allergies.
I notice that the constant high pitched noise in my ears is worse sometimes than at other times. But it is a constant noise.
It is like a high pitched hissing and sometimes it is like it will go completely deaf for a second or two then goes away. It is worse in the left ear than the right one.
Our response:
Hello Karen,
It is good to hear from you and I will do my best to assist you by help ing you choose the correct tinnitus relief remedie s. In order to achieve effective tinnitus relief it is critical to treat the root cause of one's tinnitus, there is no " one size fits all" for the relief of tinnitus.A little known fact is that there are literally millions of small hairs in the cochlea that are moved by sound waves as a result of external noise.
When a sound gets discerned by the ears and these small hairs move, impulses are sent through the nerve which your brain interprets as a sound.
The movements of the hairs in the inner ear can be likened to a field of long grass rippling in tune with the wind.
These small hair cells and those easily damaged auditory nerves are easy to break when subjected to loud noises. Obviously those that are unfortunate enough to work in a very loud environment or visit very noisy places over a period of time will suffer further damage.
The inner ear and its delicate structures are also easily damaged by a severe blow to the head If damage occurs and those tiny hairs are damaged or bent they can send random signals to the brain which are interpreted as noise even though none is present.
Noise induced cochlear damage tinnitus which can cause a ringing in the ears often is caused ear wax removals, a procedure known as ear candling, swimming accidents, hurting yourself playing sports, dental surgery.
Damage to hearing is most certainly not reversible however the tinnitus treatments have been very successful at dramatically and permanently lowering the tinnitus levels from a damaged cohlea.
You mention having year round allergies and this can most certainly cause tinnitus, however constant allergies can eventually lead to cochlea damage which results in tinnitus. In addition you suffer from TMJ and this is also always accompanied by cochlea damage induced tinnitus. I would therefore recommend our type 4 tinnitus relief remedy, which has an excellent rate of success.
