More and more people get tinnitus mainly because they fail to take good care of there ears. In some tests it has shown that 13 of 35 patients have reportedly reduced tinnitus after undergoing treatment while there are 2 who reported absence of the ringing.
Since melatonin has been said to greatly help individuals with disturbed sleeping patterns, it has also been considered as a medical intervention for tinnitus. Tinnitus sufferers suffer from lack of sleep. Melatonin though has not yet been associated to have an impact on the severity of the tinnitus but it can be safe for use as treatment for those who suffer idiopathic tinnitus especially those who have problems sleeping.
Since Vitamin A is always claimed as an active ingredient among tinnitus
drugs, beta-carotene is also being considered to be one of the tinnitus
latest treatments. Beta-carotene inside the body is converted to Vitamin
A. Large doses of beta-carotene must be avoided since the body excretes
excess beta-carotene.
